Am I covered for damage to my roof?

If your roof is damaged by a sudden event, like a storm or a fire, you may be able to make a claim on your buildings insurance. If your roof was in good repair but sustained damage from gale force winds, we’d be able to cover the necessary repairs. However, if we find that your roof was not in good condition then any claim made could be reduced or declined.  We don’t cover damage caused by normal wear and tear.
