What happens if I'm hit by an uninsured driver?

If you're involved in an accident with an uninsured driver and it's not your fault, you won't have to pay any excess if you're able to provide us with the other driver's;

• Name
• Address
• Vehicle registration number

Don't worry if you don't have these details, you'll still be able to make a claim with us, but you'll have to pay your excess and the claim could be classed as 'non-recoverable'. Any claim you make with an uninsured driver involved, could affect your No claims discount.
